non penso. vincerà come miglior film internazionale. i DGA diranno se ha qualche possibilità come regista, ma è improbabile.

Ottimo film, per carità, ma un tantino sopravvalutato e con qualche difetto di troppo (non ho mai digerito il finale). Bong ha raccontato le stesse cose in altri film, e con maggior incisività e minor malizia. Se questo è il punto di arrivo del cinema coreano per molti (prima Palma d'oro, prima nomination come miglior film agli Oscar, ecc...), non oso immaginare come dovremmo collocare i film di Lee Chang-dong (Burning grida vendetta).

beh, bisogna considerare che gran parte di chi grida al capolavoro è tanto se 17 anni fa ha visto "Old boy". e Bong ha sempre sbancato al botteghino (sin da "Memories of Murder"), è un regista più accessibile rispetto a Lee Chang-dong. Anche secondo me "Burning" è il miglior film dello scorso anno...

È quello che importa in definitiva. E pensando a quello che sono gli oscar, un misto di politica (USA) e marketing (tra l'altro ottima strategia della Barunson), c'è da gridare al miracolo. C'è da dire che quest'anno la concorrenza non era agguerritissima. Parasite era nettamente su un altro livello, pur non essendo tra i migliori film di Bong. Di film "festivalieri" c'erano giusto joker e once upon a time in hollywood, tutto il resto erano film minori usciti a ridosso degli oscar. E dare l'oscar a 1917 avrebbe solo confermato il valore mediocre degli academy awards. Burning non avrebbe mai potuto competere perché è un film d'essai, tra l'altro neanche tra i migliori di Lee a mio modo di vedere.
