La crème de la crème della scena underground Hip Hop giapponese.
Jun Seba (瀬場潤) a.k.a. Nujabes (artista scomparso soltanto pochi anni fa a causa di un incidente stradale avvenuto nei pressi di Shibuya). Forse il miglior beatmaker nipponico di sempre insieme al leggendario DJ Honda (e all'ottimo DJ Mitsu the Beats, originario di Sendai).
Propongo 2 video estratti dal vinile "Nujabes Featuring Shing02 ‎– Luv(sic) Grand Finale / Part6" che chiude il ciclo "Luv(sic)" aperto nel 2002 in compagnia del rapper Shing02 (classe '75) + un remix prodotto dal fedele amico/collaboratore Uyama Hiroto.
Chiudo con un beat di Hideaki Ishi (石 英明) a.k.a. DJ Krush, produttore di Tokyo.

Rivendico il diritto ad avere una colonna sonora, come nei film, dove anche l'avvenimento peggiore, con la giusta interpretazione, assume significati profondi, dandoti l'impressione di poter superare qualsiasi cosa. Voglio anche io quell'impressione.

Umez è un duo Giapponese residente a Londra che fa un noise-pop che ti entra nelle budella. Rainbow rischia di diventare una delle mie "canzoni" preferite del 2013. Degna di menzione anche la cover di Aitakatta delle Akb48
